Password reset is safer, and admins can use Forgot Password again
v2.55.39.0๐ The admin "Forgot password?" link works again, so admins can reset their own password. Password reset emails for players and admins now always link to LeagueForge itself, and admin reset requests are limited to stop repeated sends.
Clearer reschedule message when you are signed out
v2.55.38.1๐ If you are not signed in, the schedule now tells you to sign in to reschedule a match. Before, it said rescheduling was not available for this phase, and that it was disabled during playoffs, even in the middle of the regular season.
Finished weeks can no longer be chosen for a reschedule
v2.55.37.2๐ A week that is already finished can no longer be picked when rescheduling a match.
The schedule opens on the right week again
v2.55.37.1๐ ๏ธ The Schedule page now opens on the current week. A forfeited match was making a finished week look unfinished, so the schedule opened on the wrong week and that week could still be picked for a reschedule.
League admins can see a match's full reschedule history
v2.55.37.0๐๏ธ League admins can now see every time a match was rescheduled - when, which weeks, which team asked, and who moved it. Open Match Actions on the schedule.
League admins can clear sub requests a captain has not answered
v2.55.36.1๐ League admins can now see sub requests waiting on a captain. If a match is rescheduled and the captain has not re-confirmed the sub, the request appears on the Substitutes page for admins, who can cancel it if needed.
Subs are checked again when a match is rescheduled
v2.55.36.0๐ If a match you were subbing for is rescheduled, you will be told. The captain will re-confirm whether you are still needed. If you can no longer make the new date, withdraw your response.
๐งข Captains decide what happens next. Keep the same sub, find another, or mark it not needed.
Lineups show player names, and admins can request a sub from the dashboard
v2.55.35.1๐ท๏ธ Captains now see player names on the Lineups tab, instead of Player 1 and Player 2.
๐ League admins can request a sub straight from the dashboard. Open More on a live season and choose Request a Sub.
Subs can now see the matches they are playing
v2.55.35.0๐ Playing as a sub? Your matches now show on your dashboard. As soon as a captain confirms you, the match appears under "Matches you're subbing", with the result once it is played.
๐ Subs are listed on the schedule as soon as they are confirmed.
๐งโ๐คโ๐ง Sub requests now name the player being covered. Pick the player by name instead of "Any".
Behind the scenes: an old cleanup routine has been retired
v2.55.34.2๐งน An old cleanup routine on the sign-up page has been switched off. It never removed anyone, and nothing changes for you.
Behind the scenes: prize settings are better protected
v2.55.34.1๐ก๏ธ Changes to prizes are now better protected. Nothing changes in how you use the prizes page.
League admins can now swap a player on a team
v2.55.34.0๐ Admins can replace a player on a team, even mid-season. If someone has to step away, a league admin can put a different player in their place. The player leaving keeps all their past results.
๐ If the captain is replaced, the admin chooses who takes over as captain.
โ๏ธ New players get an invitation to set up their account. Anyone who already has an account is not emailed again.
๐ก๏ธ Behind the scenes: admin actions on the season setup page are better protected.
Behind the scenes: changes to player details are now recorded
v2.55.33.0๐ก๏ธ Every change to a player name, email or phone is now recorded. If a detail is ever changed by mistake, league admins can see what it was before and put it back. Nothing changes in how you use the app.
Weekly highlights now pick a match someone actually played
v2.55.32.1๐ A forfeited match can no longer be named Closest Match or Match of the Week. A forfeit has no score, which made it look like the tightest game of the night. Highlights now only consider matches that were actually played.
๐ฑ Notifications say what happened first. Some phones and desktops shorten a notification, and a couple of ours were being cut mid-sentence. The important part now comes first, so a shortened message still makes sense.
Sub requests can now be called off when cover is found
v2.55.32.0โ๏ธ Found a sub already? Sub requests can now be cancelled. Captains and league admins will see a Cancel button next to each request on the Substitutes page.
๐ Cancel one week, or all of them. If a request covers several weeks, you can call off just one week or the whole lot in a single click.
๐ Anyone who offered to step in is told once. If you had offered to cover four matches, you get ONE message saying cover is no longer needed - not four.
๐ก๏ธ A match someone has already accepted is never cancelled out from under them. Those are left alone and you are told how many.
Your account details are yours
v2.55.31.0๐ Once you have claimed your account, a league admin editing the roster can no longer change your name, email or phone. Those details belong to you and are now protected.
โ๏ธ Nothing changes for players who have not claimed yet - an admin can still correct their details as before, which is how invitations get sent.
โน๏ธ Admins are told clearly when this happens, so an edit is never quietly ignored.
Standings and highlights now keep up with the current week
v2.55.30.0๐ Weekly highlights and standings snapshots were stuck on an older week. They now move forward as each week finishes, so what you see matches where the season actually is.
๐ Two things were causing it. A week that had matches moved into or out of it was being counted wrongly, so the app thought matches were still unplayed when they were already done. And a match settled by forfeit could never be counted as finished at all, which quietly held its whole week open.
โ๏ธ Both are fixed, and weeks 3 and 4 have been brought up to date.
See how teams are ranked, and how ties are broken
v2.55.29.0๐ The standings now explain how teams are ordered. You will see "Ranked by, then tie-breakers:" followed by the sequence used - match wins first, then the tie-breakers in the order they apply. Hover any one of them to see whether higher or lower is better.
๐บ This appears on the standings page and on the Live Display board, using the same source, so the two can never disagree.
โฌ๏ธ On the standings page the explanation has also moved down, to sit directly above the table it describes rather than above the Legend.
๐ ๏ธ For admins: the "More" menu in the Seasons and Tournaments tables is no longer cut off by the edge of the table. It now opens over the rows below it.
See at a glance which round each match is
v2.55.28.0๐ข The Display board now shows a round marker - R1, R2, R3 - at the left of every match. If you are in R3, you can see at a glance that two rounds go before you, so you know roughly how long you have.
โถ๏ธ Matches are ordered the way the night actually runs. A game in progress stays at the top, then everything still to play in round order, then any match that has been moved to a different week, and finished matches at the bottom.
โ๏ธ A match moved to another week does not show a round marker, because its round belongs to the week it moved to, not this one. The "Rescheduled" tag tells you where it went.
See the round for every match, in the order you will play them
v2.55.27.0๐ฏ The schedule now shows a Round number on every match, not only when you filter to one team. Round 1 is the first match of the night, Round 2 the second, and so on - so you can see at a glance how long you have before you are up.
๐ Matches are now listed in the order you will play them. Anything already finished moves to the bottom, and a match that has been moved to a different week sits just above the finished ones, so what is actually happening tonight is always at the top.
โฉ๏ธ If a match was moved INTO this week, it now appears in its proper round order rather than being pushed to the end. The "Rescheduled From Week N" tag is what tells you it moved.
๐ On the sub requests page, a request now names the player you would be covering for instead of showing "PLAYER2". Requests that are open to anyone still say "Any player".
